My Gym Children's Fitness Center in Norwell is hiring individuals who would love working with groups of children in active early learning fitness classes. My Gym's unique class programming for ages toddlers through 7 years, is a perfect fit for anyone who is outgoing, physically fit, and wants to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Most of our classes include circle time, basic gymnastics, singing, dancing, fun games, and a variety of other fitness activities appropriate for young ages (3 months to 7 years).
About us... There are approximately 200 My Gym Children's Fitness Centers in the US and hundreds more around the world. The My Gym in Norwell has been locally owned and successfully operated by David Ames for over 15 years. We primarily teach early learning “Parent & Me” programs for toddlers and early preschoolers and fun independent fitness-oriented classes for children ages 3 1/2 through 7 years. We also offer birthday parties on weekends and 3-hour camp programs in the summer.

Here is what we are looking for....
- You must be a high energy person and fit enough to be on your feet for multiple classes in a row. You also need to have the ability to do basic gymnastic skills like hanging from a bar, lifting your feet to a bar, and doing a summersault.
- You must be genuinely outgoing and enjoy customer service and children.
- A background in any type of performing, is a big plus, but not required. My Gym teachers need to keep the attention of groups, so expressive people that are comfortable with being the center of attention make great My Gym teachers.
- For Full Time Applicants: Ability to work 30-40 hours a week. We run AM and PM shifts and some all-day shifts.
- For Part Time Applicants: Ability to work 20-30 hours a week. We run AM and PM shifts and some all-day shifts.
